park assist and rear view camera
Park assist uses sensors to guide you by indicating the presence of nearby obstacles with audible and visual signals. As soon as you start reversing, the camera transmits a rear view with markers on the central screen (Park Assist option).
pedestrian safety
A sensor tells the driver to brake if there is a risk of collision with a pedestrian. The system reinforces the braking if the driver’s reactions are too slow and even brakes completely if necessary.
detection of cyclists in the blind spot on the road and in urban areas
The blind spot warning (BSW) detects the presence of a cyclist or a vehicle in the rear side areas outside of the field of vision. A light signal in the wing mirrors alerts the driver. On the passenger side, a sensor detects cyclists in the blind spot and activates an audible and light signal.

Makes keeping to speed limit easy. You are automatically informed of speed limit changes throughout your journey via the openR screen connected to a camera. A signal warns you if you exceed it. Combined with active driver assist* , the system can automatically adapt your speed.

Enjoy driving comfort on main roads with precision cruise control that lets you set and keep to a cruising speed without having to use the accelerator.
automatic high/low beam
A camera located at the top of the windscreen analyses light flows and automatically selects the lighting mode providing good visibility at night or in low light conditions.
rear view assistant
Enjoy a rear view for safe reversing behind the wheel of your panel vehicle. The digital screen that replaces the rearview mirror transmits the rear view captured by a camera.
hill start assist
Set off easily on slopes steeper than 3%. This system holds the braking for 2 seconds.
differential locking assistant*
The device lets you automatically switch the torque to the wheel with the best grip. In this way, you can druive through low grip areas like building sites, muddy terrain and more. Active below 30 km/h and according to road-holding conditions.

extended grip
Improve your wheel grip upon startup and up to 50 km/h on loose or slippery ground (snow, mud, sand, etc). The system calculates and accurately adjusts the power attributed from one wheel to another so the tyres can grip the ground.

active emergency braking system with pedestrian and cyclist detection
Detects pedestrians and cyclists coming from the front or side to avoid a collision. An alert activates in the event of an imminent potential collision. Braking is automatically reinforced if the driver’s reactions are too slow and will even brake completely if necessary.

lane departure warning
Avoid the risk of hitting an oncoming vehicle if you unintentionally cross a solid or broken line. With a surveillance camera attached to the windscreen behind the rearview mirror, the system warns you immediately by vibrating the steering wheel.
ABS anti-lock brake system
Lets you maintain directional control of the vehicle during sudden braking. Braking assistance prevents skidding by preventing the wheels from locking.
trailer assistance
This system helps you stay in control of the vehicle when towing a trailer. It detects movements and counterbalances the trailer when towing in certain driving conditions.
active emergency braking
Alerts and assists the driver to avoid any collision with a pedestrian, cyclist or vehicle in front. To avoid impact, the system intensifies the braking force if the driver’s reaction time is too slow.
blind spot warning
The system addresses the lack of visibility of the rear lateral areas. A light signal in the wing mirrors alerts the driver if a two-wheeler or a vehicle is present. If the sensor detects a cyclist in the blind spot on the passenger side, an audible and visual signal is also activated.
electronic stability control
Helps maintain your vehicle’s trajectory if one or more of the wheels lose grip, by combining anti-slip regulation (ASR), understeer control (CSV), extended grip and hill start assist.

R5 TURBO 3E E-Tech electric includes everything: with the same high performance as its predecessor, it adopts and modernises its iconic style. Fin blade, air intakes, lines, colours, impossible to ignore! And its 280 kW (380 hp) motor electrifies everything in its path.
Two electric motors located at the rear generate 280 kW, power equivalent to 380 hp. 700 Nm of torque is available upon acceleration and the 42 kWh batteries produce a series of drifts at full power.
Created for competition and more specifically for drifting, the R5 TURBO 3E E-Tech electric weighs 980 kg (excluding batteries) and inherits a bespoke designed tubular chassis. The flat floor accommodates the batteries; a very low centre of gravity contributes to better drifting.

With two close-fit seats designed to push through “attack zones”, the R5 TURBO 3E E-Tech electric is inevitably rear-wheel drive. Carbon fibre bodywork covers a tubular chassis, slick tyres are designed for drift and camera brackets let you record and share sessions.

Underbody, bumpers and all of the surfaces have been redesigned on this show-car. It gains 25 cm in width compared to the “Turbo 2”. Attractive details: pinky-violet tinted windows, red LED rims that light up during drifts and a luminous logo in the centre of the steering wheel.

Aerodynamics specifically redesigned: bonnet air intakes, air resistance-reducing front bumper, no wing mirrors but it does have camera brackets and a rear diffuser protecting the air outlets. The headlights play a glitch art-inspired animation during drifts.

Both aggressive and soft, the cabin is designed to be high performance giving you complete peace of mind. The safety arches reassure you, the bucket seats hold you, and the upholstery protects you… Let’s drift!
