Renault Scenic offers flexible charging whether you are at home, in your company or on the road.

Scenic lets you travel freely. With a fully charged battery and a 30-minute recharge during the journey, you can travel up to 600 km¹ on the motorway using a DC fast charger (150 kW minimum).

As nearly as 90% of the charging points in Europe are 22 kW or less, you will always have an opportunity to charge your car. Scenic’s 22 kW charger allows you to quickly recover 50% of your driving range : ~ 2 hours on the long range battery ~1h30 on the standard range battery.

Scenic is easy to charge at home on the domestic network using a wall box charging terminal, a reinforced home socket or occasionally on a standard domestic socket. Every day with a special 7.4 kW charging point, recharge from 15 to 80% in around 8 hrs 30.

Whether you are at home, in your company or travelling, Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric offers amongst the best levels of charging flexibility on the market. The vehicle comes with a mode 3 cable that can be used on a home charging point or on a public charging point. Other cables are available as an option.

Ideal for everyday use, charge Scenic E-Tech 100% electric with the mode 3 type 2 cable (depending on options):

FAQ

With AC alternating or DC direct current. Conventional home and public charging points offer alternating current. Fast charging points that can be found on motorways offer direct current.The battery works with DC current, so the vehicle’s charger converts AC to DC when your car is plugged into a conventional charging point.

At home, you just need to install a reinforced socket or a charging point to charge your vehicle with the type 2 cable supplied. Occasionally, you can also charge your car from a domestic socket with the Flexicharger cable available as an option.

The home charging point must be 7.4 kW AC single-phase or 11 kW AC three-phase. The suitable cables are called type 2 cables or Flexicharger cables (in the case of a reinforced domestic socket).
