In your vehicle, the Google Maps built-in planner provides routes indicating charging points and estimated stopping times according to your preferences. Your route updates automatically based on Renault 5’s battery level. If traffic is disrupted or the road is blocked, your route is automatically recalculated.

Various exclusive systems secure the batteries and make any necessary interventions easier. “Firefighter Access” helps the emergency services put out a battery fire in just a few minutes. The SD Switch disconnects the battery from the high voltage network to ensure electrical safety for the fire service.

recyclability

At the end of the vehicle’s life, the batteries, depending on their condition, may be refurbished, reused to store energy in other uses, or recycled. More than 90% of the cobalt, nickel and lithium will then be recycled in a closed loop* to produce new batteries.

*Closed-loop recycling of more than 90% of the cobalt, nickel and lithium is being put in place by The Future Is NEUTRAL (a Renault Group subsidiary dedicated to the circular economy) and its partners, and should be operational from 2027.

Depending on your subscription, you may also benefit from attractive prices at all charging stations, in particular in the IONITY network.

You can consult and sign up to our subscription packages via the app. Find all charges in your transaction history. Start and stop charging with your Mobilize charge pass. The price applied is displayed in the app but may differ from that shown on the stations.

HOW DO I START OR STOP A CHARGE?

Once at the charging point, use your pass to start charging.

Tap your pass on the designated area  (RFID reader). Charging will start after a few seconds. Repeat this step to stop charging.

HOW DO I GET MY INVOICE?

After each charge, you will receive your receipt and your invoice by email.

Reading the indicators on your app:

 

  • orange is for a  normal charge, dark orange shows the  completed charge, and light orange is the  remaining to be charged
  • blue is for the  smart charge portion, dark blue shows the  completed charge, and
  • light blue is the  remaining to be charged
    in the middle, “234 km” indicates  the available possible driving range.

GET STARTED WITH SMART CHARGE

INSTALLED IN JUST A FEW CLICKS!

  1. Download   My Renault   and register my vehicle with my garage.
  2. Download the   Mobilize smart charge   app.
  3. Create your   Mobilize smart charge   account – enter your My Renault e-mail address, your first and last names are automatically filled in and the VINs of the vehicles in your garage are displayed.
  4. Select your vehicle’s   VIN
  5. Enter your   address   for home charging.
  6. Specify your   off-peak/peak times and tariffs, if applicable.   (to be localised).
  7. Enter your Delivery Point to benefit from rewards with smart charging.
  8. Add your   bank details   to receive cash rewards.
