One Pedal technology
The One Pedal function makes city driving easier by using mainly the accelerator pedal. When released, Megane decelerates to a complete stop. Fully releasing the pedal optimises regenerative braking. Press again to regain speed.

Megane E-Tech electric lets you travel up to 300 km on the motorway with a fully charged battery. This is made possible by a design that is focused on driving range, its highly efficient motor and the smart management of its consumption.

With its energy recovery system, Megane E-Tech electric charges its battery when slowing down or when you press the brake pedal. Four levels of regenerative braking, accessible via the steering wheel-mounted paddles, adapt to the road conditions encountered or the habits of the driver, effectively increasing the electric driving range*.

The heat pump, which is available as standard, is combined with a system for recovering energy from the motor and the battery, to enhance the driving range of Megane E-Tech electric and ensure the thermal comfort of its passengers, regardless of the conditions. Very useful in winter.

Megane E-Tech electric is equipped with a regenerative braking system. When the vehicle brakes or slows down, the energy output is recovered to power your electric battery and extend its driving range.

Like all batteries, electric vehicle batteries are sensitive to extreme temperature fluctuations.
The increased energy efficiency of Megane E-Tech electric offers optimal driving range in all use conditions, both in summer and in winter.
Nonetheless, weather conditions can impact the driving range. Calculate Megane E-Tech electric’s driving range based on your use and the weather conditions.
To optimise the battery life in cold temperatures, we recommend the “winter performance”* pack:
- boost your driving range by approximately 10% on the motorway in temperatures as low as -5°C, and enjoy faster charging;
- increase your driving range by approximately 20% for city driving in temperatures below -5°C. A true ally against cold weather, the smart energy recovery system captures the heat produced by the battery and powertrain and redirects it to heat the passenger compartment.
Megane E-Tech electric is perfectly suited to long journeys as it is fitted with a 60 kWh battery and has a charging power of up to 130 kWh. It has a driving range of up to 470 km WLTP in combined cycle and up to 300 km on the motorway.
The route planner for electric vehicles is the perfect assistant on long journeys. Activate it on your multimedia system to plan your route. Its predictive feature helps you adapt to your travel conditions in real time and guides you to available charging stations.
Electronic devices have minimal impact on the driving range of your Megane E-Tech electric.
To optimise your daily driving range, adopt the right habits for smooth, energy-efficient driving!
On the central screen of the electric Megane E-Tech, the journey planner predicts the range, based on weather conditions, road traffic and speed limits on the planned route.The dashboard, meanwhile, displays the autonomy based on the last kilometres driven.
If during your journey, your driving style and actual road conditions change, it is therefore possible that the range displayed on the dashboard may be different from that predicted by the planner on the central screen.
The cost of the battery is included in the purchase price of Megane E-Tech electric.
Once you own the vehicle, the battery certificate will become available on your My Renault account.
You can also view your battery status on your My Renault app.
Renault offers you an 8-year and 160,000-km warranty, at 70% of your battery’s initial performance level. Renault no longer offers battery rental. Vehicle leasing packages are, however, available with the battery included.
